I was happy, the cats were in a frenzy; all was well. Then the laser dimmed. It dimmed significantly. It would be acceptably bright for five seconds in a given use and then dim to the point I have trouble following it a few feet away on a white ceiling. I replaced the batteries with the second set that were included in the box and it did not improve. I use a touch screen on my phone/PDA, my Nintendo DS and on my work computer. The weight, length and heft of the stylus really help in increasing accuracy, with a slight cost in speed over a flimsy plastic stylus. Aesthetically it's simple, modern, but with a slight touch of luxury.Caveats: The Laser pointer is a novelty. I used it for two evenings to play with my cats, and it's already dimmed to the point where you can't see it in a well lighted room. If you wanted to use it for a presentation I would replace the batteries directly before the presentation, and have a backup. The LED light runs off the same battery, so it applies there as well. The pocket clip is not welded into place, but relys on tension. This means that if you attempt to decrease the tension on the clip by bending it outwards, it will fall off of your pen.
