But the ball point refill they have in this didn't write properly and it also doesn't write smooth (a little scratchy on the paper). I am hoping I can find another refill so I can use this both as a pen and laser pointer, as it is meant to be. I only want to use this occasionally, as I use a better fountain pen (Cross) for most of the writing. This will be useful for traveling, when you don't want to carry too many things, don't expect to write too much, but have a need for a laser pointer. I will update the review later on battery life and ball point refills... In any case, if this doesn't serve the purpose as a good pen, there is no point in buying this - we can as well buy a single function laser pointer and buy a separate Pilot or Farber ballpoint pens.
